About Us

I was born in Maine and raised in Spain as a child. I was influenced by my constant surrounding of intriguing vehicles from 2 different continents and quickly developed an automotive enthusiasm that persists to this day. With that enthusiasm, I drew and designed concept/production cars as a kid and during a certain point in my teen-hood, I began to animate them in a videogame platform known as Little Big Planet (Create Mode) where my vehicles were allowed to accelerate freely, sense their surroundings, and annihilate other objects using simple logic on simulated circuit boards. I knew that I wanted to pursue a career in electrical engineering in this industry if not in aviation. Currently, I specialize in signal/image processing for a soon to be autonomous car for the AutoDrive team at NC A&T.

Hello, my name is Robert. I was born in Kenya and moved to North Carolina with my family. I was always a mischievous kid, that liked to tinker around with computers. I remember messing around with the components of the hardware in the home computer and receiving Blue Screen of death error messages. It was then that I learned that I was good with computers because, unbeknownst to my mother, I would hastily troubleshoot the problem before she got back from work - which occurred on more than one occasion. Other than computers I have always been creative, whether it was painting, video editing, or graphic design. At NCA&T I have found a nourishing environment to combine my love of technology with my creative side. In my free time you can find me working on websites, or designing something.
